Growing in the fullness of Christ

We will be attending Sovereign Grace Ministries’ Pastors College this fall (’13-’14). It is an intensive ten month program designed to train a man for pastoral ministry in the context of a local church, with his intellectual and spiritual growth in view. The Pastor’s College is distinct in its aim to not only train a man theologically for pastoral ministry, but to help him apply that doctrine on the spot. The component of pastoring men through pastoral training is one of the key distinctives of the Pastors College experience. And we get the privilege of experiencing this training.

But we can’t do this alone.

Who We Are

Michelle and I are high school sweethearts (yes, we have the prom pictures to prove it). We  have been married for 6 years now, have one son, with another  little one on the way. We moved to West Chester, PA 6 years ago to join Covenant Fellowship Church (CFC) to get involved in a Biblical, local church and pursue the possibility of pastoral ministry with Sovereign Grace Ministries. Over the past six years Michelle and I have been enriched and encouraged by our life together with the people of CFC. We have walked through the sorrows of miscarriages, infertility, and daily trials with these dear friends. We have also walked through the joys of new life, daily pleasures, and growth in friendship and godliness together. Over all of these things, we have grown in our love for Jesus, and have had the joy of seeing ourselves and many people around us be transformed by the grace of God in this local church. Over this time, my sense that God is calling me into pastoral ministry has grown – the desire to care for God’s people and preach Christ. As my desires have grown over the years, this sense of calling has been evaluated and confirmed by the pastors and people of Covenant Fellowship Church.
